SBP buys back Rs585bn floating rate PIBs
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) conducted a Buy Back Auction for Pakistan Investment Bonds, Floating Rate (PFL), with a settlement date of September 11, 2026, repurchasing Rs585.358bn in face value terms from the market across six securities. Total face value bids received for the auction amounted to Rs1,305.686bn, led by PK05L1910280 with Rs336.090bn, followed by PK05L0604280 with Rs266.895bn, PK05L2706299 with Rs234.229bn, PK05L1804293 with Rs230.405bn, PK05L1008283 with Rs120.500bn, and PK05L2109288 with Rs117.567bn. Buy back auction result floating rate PIBs (PFL) The SBP accepted a total of Rs585.358bn in face value terms through competitive bids across the six securities. PK05L0604280 led acceptances with Rs184.395bn, followed by PK05L2706299 with Rs140.691bn, PK05L1804293 with Rs115.705bn, PK05L2109288 with Rs81.567bn, PK05L1008283 with Rs60.500bn, and PK05L1910280 with Rs2.500bn.
